CAD in Machinery Design Implementation and Educational Issues

The Conference

The CADMD series of conferences began in Warsaw in 1994 and is organized annually in Poland and Ukraine. This year we want to continue the tradition of the conference and invite you to Supraśl near Białystok, Poland.

Information for authors

The working languages of the conference are English, Polish and Ukrainian.

Submitted papers (in English) should be original, containing new and original results. The material must be unpublished and not under submission elsewhere.

Prospective authors are invited to submit one page digest to the Organizing Committee electronically in MS WordDoc Format. The required format of the digest will be delivered by e-mail or will be available on the Conference Web page.

Some selected, full version of the papers will be printed in:

1. “Acta Mechanica et Automatica” journal (indexed: Scopus, WoS; 100 MEN points).
2. The post-conference monograph. The monograph will be edited and printed by the Printing House of Bialystok University of Technology.

Paper submission

The paper should be printed on a sheet of size A4 (210 x 297 mm). Text should not exceed one page for a regular paper, including drawings and references. A brief abstract (one column wide) should be included as the first paragraph of the paper. Leave two blank lines before the abstract. Body of the abstract can contain max. 60 words (till 10 lines of the text). The heading of the abstract with 3.5 mm of extra margin. Leave one blank line between the abstract and the heading of the first section. The model paper should be printed on a laser printer.

Conference fee

The estimated cost of participation in CADMD 2023 conference is 1800 PLN. The fee includes: accommodation (three nights), meals, banquet, printing chapter in conference monography. An excursion to the Tatar village - Kruszyniany is planned: visiting the mosque and lunch at the "Tatarska Jurta". Also there will be a tour of the Icon Museum and Orthodox monastery in Supraśl.

Location

The conference will take place in “Akademia Supraska”, Supraśl near Białystok, Poland.

Supraśl boasts a beautiful orthodox monastery which houses the museum of icons. It is also associated with the beautiful and picturesque Supraśl river valley. Supraśl is tucked away in the middle of the Knyszyn Forest, whose natural resources contribute to the town’s development as a health resort. It owes its microclimate to the pine forest, whose air is redolent with therapeutic oil. Time seems to flow more slowly here.
